Visitors are introduced to Pedro St. James by a custom created multimedia show and special effects theatre. This daring 20-minute production begins before the audience sets foot in the theatre. While the proceeding group is exiting directly on to the restored grounds, a storm begins to brew in the theatre foyer. Thunder rumbles and lightening is seen on a distant recreated seascape that begins to come into focus at one end of the space.
For this exciting production, Commonwealth was the lead interpretation design and production consultant. Commonwealth's responsibilities included research, conceptual development, graphic design and interpretive framework, theatre and set design, and overall project
